For the Great Escape Festival, silquil got the chance to chat to Priyaji, also known as Noni Mouse, an electronica and sound artist. With the release of their debut EP 'Entries for Art' under their new moniker, Priyaji tells us about the kinship between British trip-hop and the club scene in Mumbai and how that informed this response to current electronic music and their need to evoke an alternate club setting whilst being tied together with traditional indian percussion and strings.
